VPN clientless – compatibility of SNX (SSL network extender) with Windows 10 – Jannuary 2016

Browser compatibility with Windows 10 to utilize SNX is shown in the following table:

(1) Proper support is planned for Q1 2016.

(2) Until Check Point modifies the relevant products (planned for Q1 2016), the following immediate workarounds are suggested:

• Re-enable NPAPI in Google Chrome.
1. In Google Chrome, go to the following URL - chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
2. Click on the "Enable" link:

3. At the bottom of this page, click on the "Relaunch Now" button:

• Note: This workaround will work only until Chrome version 45 is released later in 2015.
• Use alternative browsers which have NPAPI enabled. (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari).
• Use SNX command line.

Note: This solution is designated for Linux and Mac OS X users that use SNX without Mobile Access blade.

Hotfix installation instructions:

1. Hotfix has to be installed on Mobile Access Gateway.

Note: In cluster environment, this procedure must be performed on all members of the cluster.

2. Download this hotfix package to your computer.(you must be logged in)
3. Transfer the hotfix package to the Mobile Access Gateway (into some directory, e.g., /some_path_to_fix/).
4. Unpack the hotfix package:

[Expert@HostName]# cd /some_path_to_fix/
[Expert@HostName]# tar -zxvf Check_Point_R77.30_Linux_sk107132.tgz

5. Install the hotfix:

[Expert@HostName]# ./UnixInstallScript

Note: The script will stop all of Check Point services (cpstop) - read the output on the screen.

6. Reboot the Mobile Access Gateway.

1. Download and unpack the hotfix package (refer to the "Installation instructions" above) above).
2. Run the installation script with "-u" flag:
